CWL Knitting Group
CWL Knitting Group has sent over 1,000 knitted or crocheted items in the past 4 years to the Catholic Missions where they are distributed to northern regions of Canada. We are a group of 8 women who knit at home and knitted items are picked up twice per year. There are NO meetings involved. If you like to knit or know a knitter, please tell them about our group as we welcome anyone who likes to knit to join us; one does not need to be a member of the CWL.
Also, if anyone has yarn that they are not using to please donate it to our group. For further information, please call Rosaleen Veres at (905) 294 6711 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Legion of Mary
CALLING ALL MEN AND WOMEN TO COME AND JOIN THE LEGION OF MARY.
The main purpose of the Legion of Mary is to give glory to God through the sanctification of its members. The Legion of Mary is the largest apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic Church with active members in almost every country of the world.
Members become instruments of the Holy Spirit through a balanced program of prayer and service. Legionaries are under the guidance of a Spiritual Director named by the Pastor. The Legion is, in essence, an extension of the heart and hands of the Pastor.
Here at St. Patrick’s Church, the “Legion of Mary” meetings are held every TUESDAY, FROM 7:00 TO 8:30 PM in the ST. AIDAN’ S ROOM.
For more information, please contact the Parish office to become a member of this “PRAYER & SERVICE” ministry.
You are invited to join the Book Club which meets
every 3rd Tuesday at ST. Patrick’s Parish from 10 -11:30am in the St. Brendan’s room.
For more information, please call (905) 201-0672.
See you there!
Children's Liturgy of the Word
The Children’s Liturgy of the Word is looking for volunteer teachers to help explain the Sunday Gospel passages to children in junior kindergarten to grade 2. High-school students can get credit for community service hours in this volunteer-teacher role.
Please come and visit the Children Liturgy at 9:30 Mass on Sundays
Voices needed for 9:30 am Choir
Do you like to sing, but have never thought about being a part of a group or choir? Consider coming out on Thursday nights at 7.30pm to a rehearsal with the 9:30am Choir. We are not trained voices, just parishioners who love to sing and praise God within the format of a four part choir. No audition necessary, just come and see where your voice would fit in. If you have any questions, you can contact us at SATBchoir@stpatrick.on.ca or come out on any Thursday night.
St. Patrick's Children's Choir will resume practices on Sunday, September 25, at 3:00 pm in the Large Hall.
We welcome any new children from Grades 1-8 who would be interested in singing. Any interested singers in Grade 8 and up who like to sing, we would certainly be willing to accommodate! The Choir practices every Sunday afternoon from end of September through to the middle of May, and sings at the 4:30pm Mass twice a month. Parents and children who would like more information, please come to the first practice on September 25, 2016 at 3:00 pm, or leave your name in the Parish Office and someone will contact you.
