Sacramental Celebrations

Celebration of the sacraments is of the utmost importance in the life of the church and for each of its members. The sacraments are public celebrations of our faith and as such, are celebrated whenever possible, in the midst of the believing community, the local Church, the parish.

It is in the home that a child is first introduced to God and to the Christian way of life. The family is the “domestic church” and is rooted in the parish. However, it is the parish that provides the immediate preparation for each of the sacraments.
