Like all Christians, Roman Catholics believe in a Trinitarian God. God is one in Three Persons; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. We believe The Son came into the world in the historical person of Jesus of Nazareth to enter into a personal friendship with us so that we might discover for ourselves God's personal, endless, and unfailing love for us. This belief comes from the Bible.
The Bible Changes Us
We love the Bible. It is the greatest love story ever told - the love between God and humanity. We believe it contains the Living Word of God and has the power to touch and change our minds, hearts and lives. Our Publich Worship, called the Mass, is steeped in the Bible.
Mary is very Special
When you have a good friend, chances are you know his or her mother and probably appreciate her role in helping your friend be the person he or she is. The Person of Jesus has a mom. While we don't worship her, we feel Mary is very special because she is the Mother of God. In the same way you would ask a family member to pray for you, we ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to pray for us and all who seek her Son, our Lord.
Sacraments
God made us with five senses to see, smell, taste, hear, and touch the world. It is how we encounter others and God. Sacraments are religious ceremonies that allow us to experience God through our senses - to meet the Invisble God through visible signs of His presence. One way God is present to us is in the Eucharist. At Mass the priest takes bread and wine, consecrates it, and we believe it becomes the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ - His Real Presence. You are invited to experience this mystery at our mass. Click here for mass times.
We're not Perfect
We're strive hard to live our values and make our community a welcoming, friendly, and joyful place. But we can fall short when we put ourselves before others. If you've ever visited us and felt unwelcome, please come back and let us know. We need your feedback to improve. Don't let us get in the way of your own personal journey and friendship with God. Come back, give us a second chance. We will try our best to make thing right.
